Acquisition Of PT GP Technology Bintan

The Board of Directors of Sunningdale Precision Industries Ltd (the "Company") refers to its announcement on 4 July 2004 and the article published in The Business Times on 5 July 2004 in relation to the acquisition of PT GP Technology Bintan ("GPT Bintan").

The Board of Directors wishes to clarify the following statements:

1. "We are embarking on an aggressive programme to expand our manufacturing facilities to keep up with increasing orders".

Clarification:

The Company has committed a US$12 million expansion plan of our production capacity in Shanghai to handle existing orders from our customers and in expectation of future increases in orders. Following the acquisition of GPT Bintan, the Company has expanded its manufacturing footprint to 5 countries, with a total of 12 facilities. This is an increase from having only 8 facilities in 4 countries in July 2003 immediately following the Company's initial public offer.

2. " In addition, existing production capacity at PT GP Technology is expected to contribute a turnover of $10 million per year to its topline."

Clarification:

With the continuation of existing projects with their former customer and new projects to be transferred from the Company to GPT Bintan 's production facility, GPT Bintan is expected to contribute a turnover of approximately S$10 million from FY2005 onwards.
